Casting quality every day.

Nuova Fonderia di Castenedolo produces and markets cast iron pieces, both raw and machined, for the steel industry and mechanical engineering in general. Moulds and cores, executed in sand – resin, are made by three mixers, and the pouring phases take place with the use of pneumatic reversing ladles, with capacities varying from 10 to 55 tons.

Using highly advanced and efficient plants, processes monitored by modern control systems and managed by specialized, constantly trained personnel, Nuova Fonderia di Castenedolo is able to manufacture great varieties and quantities of products in lamellar cast iron, grey cast iron and nodular cast iron. The assistance of the highly qualified internal technical Department guarantees the production of cast iron pieces tailored on any need and application. Here some of the products which are part of the production: cast iron flywheels, ingot moulds, stool plates and bases, pots, slag pots, lead casting trays, crucibles, plates and counter plates, hot tops, chill moulds, bases and structures for presses.

Patterns and cores

Cores and moulds in sand – resin are made thanks to the production capacity of three mixers.

Casting plants

Plants reach a total annual capacity of 25.000 tons, with three electric furnaces of 50, 65 and 25 tons.

Tapping

Casting phases are made with pneumatic reversing ladles, with capacities varying from 10 to 55 tons.

Processes

At work on any demand.

Strategically located in the immediate outskirts of Brescia and close to the main motorways, Nuova Fonderia di Castenedolo can manufacture any kind of mechanical processing on its own cast iron castings. All processes are made through the use of two vertical lathes, one of them CNC; three boring machines two of which CNC; one 2000×2000 hacksaw and one GF 100 T sandblast.
